Mr. Fox was born in St. John’s and educated as an engineer in Nova Scotia. He returned to work with the City of St. John’s for five years, before becoming Chief Executive Officer of the Port of St. John’s from 1980 to 1998. Fox oversaw a number of important infrastructural improvements during the 1980s in order to meet the needs of port users. He currently resides in Halifax.
